ASA Approved bats
A question for all. Play in a league that only allows ASA Approved bats. Which bat for 2019 provides the most distance. I know that we all here have great experience in the game and I'd rather listen your comments than go on line and read all the adds from the various manufacturers. Of course, opinions differ, but I trust yours more than theirs. Currently swing a Miken End load (26oz) Border Battle. Also, does added weight, (27oz, 28oz), translate into more distance? Thanks for all of the help!

im - so we have the same deal here, ASA Sr League using ASA approved balls (52/300) and bats. The newer made bats are made to hit these balls so I picked up the Miken KP23 12". I like it, hits em pretty good but can't give you exact distance yet as I have not hit the league balls outside since I got the bat earlier this year. I also picked up a Dudley Demolition ASA because I prefer to hit ASA bats similar to the weighting that I hit my sr bats and I own/hit Dudley OG's in tourneys. I have seen someone hit a 44/375 ball 360' with that bat (a little breeze behind him). That bat is also a good deal compared to the others which is why I grabbed it, was hard to pass up the deal ($139 shipped). As for you other question, I believe it has been stated here that the heavier bat you can swing without losing a LOT of bat speed = distance but I will that question to the experts, I swing a 27 or 26 oz and honestly can't see the difference in distance when I swing.
Hope this helps, good luck!
