Dudley LLBSP (black and yellow)
Team, I am down to my last couple bats in this model. Anyone know of a contact that may have a few in 26 or 27 oz?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I have been told the originals had a tacky surface down to the grip. The reissued bats were only tacky on the barrell.

Bruce, you would be correct in that the tacky on the original black and yellow started from the grip and went all the way to the end of the barrel. This is my bat of choice so when I saw the bat being reissued, I immediately ordered one and it was at a great price. When I received the bat, I immediately noticed that the 10 inches or so between the handle tape and the barrel was NOT tacky.

Caps14 if you look at the Dudley green/black balanced that followed the following year (2017???) you should see the difference. That part is shiny and not tacky. I actually called the company about the difference and was going to return the bat but eventually kept the bat but so far the original is much better.
I also have the green/black version 1 oz lighter and with the exception of the color, they would be identical.

By the way, I raved about the bat so much( when the reissue came out) to a fellow player who was looking for a bat. He bought one this spring and while using it for only the 2nd time, a foot or so of the barrel snapped right off after a swing.
And when he called the company about the bat, he was just plain out of luck.

Ron4, I have a 2016 LLESP 26oz with a 12" barrel. A dear friend passed away from cancer and I inherited the bat. It's in very good condition with maybe 100 swings on it. I already have 3 senior bats and would consider selling it if you're interested.
