| Aug. 17, 2019 dblace11 3 posts | Looking for a team in MO,KS,OK I live in Wichita and looking for a 50-55 yr old team. I've been playing competitive ball for about 30 years. I pitch and play Infield with a pretty good stick. Kinda tired of playing with kids and their attitudes. |
| Aug. 19, 2019 cyborg45 Men's 75 194 posts | I moved from Wichita to Florida 4 years ago. I have felt your pain with no senior ball in that area. Kansas City has senior leagues and travel teams. A great organization for a traveling team is the Scrap Iron organization in the Denver area. They had 16 teams when I played there several years ago with all levels from AAA to Major Plus in most age groups. When you qualify to move up in age, there will usually be a team to take you. One of the top organizations in the country for slow pitch softball. Great group of guys and extremely organized. I highly recommend you talk to them first. The problem with Wichita is that you will have to fly for most tournaments. Aurora, the home field, is about an 8 hour drive. Good luck. |
