I have not played for three years but am thinking of getting back in the game. I have recently moved from Texas to Nevada and I know that I need to reregister but would like clarification before I do. I have found that there is no senior league here I. The town I live in but there is in Las Vegas but the park is a full hour and thirty minutes from my location— too far to travel twice a week. The question is I interested in playing in the upcoming Vegas tournament am not related to a team at the moment and have not played in a qualifier this year. What are the rules concerning my playing status? Can I play for a team from Texas or do I need to play with one surrounding or from Nevada? Can I be a pickup for a team short of players? Can I play at all seeing how I have not been to a qualifying tournament? A little help would be greatly appreciated. |
Aug. 21, 2019 DaveDowell Men's 70 4315 posts | yankeesfan1949 ... There are a lot of variables in your personal circumstances and it would be best if you contact the SSUSA Home Office directly ... Please call us at (916) 326.5303 during normal business hours Pacific Time and ask for an "eligibility" staff member ... That should get you to Tiffany, Stephanie or Anthony ... They can walk you through your situation and hopefully get you headed in the right direction ... In the interim, there is a "white paper" titled LVSSA/SSUSA WORLD MASTERS • ROSTER CONSIDERATIONS available from the RULES page of this website that is an excellent reference document as you start ... Good luck! |
