Feb. 18, 2020 TimMcElroy 942 posts | First Responder / Salute to Service tourney near Washington D.C. 10 teams are currently entered for the First Responders / Salute to Service tournament. We are looking for a few more to join us for this special one-day event. Date: Saturday, April 11th (1 day tourney on Easter Saturday. Entries will be limited so that we can be off the fields early and get people home. Location: Potomack Lakes Sportsplex in Sterling is located a short drive from our nation's Capitol and the D.C. Monuments. 4 game guarantee with 2 divisions of play being offered- Men's 40+ and Men's First Responder (35+). The First Responder division requires that 8 or more players be current or former Police, Fire, Military, CIA, FBI, ATF, etc. The goal of this event is 2-fold..... 1st- to celebrate all First Responders in the community and 2nd- to expose current and soon to be 40 yr olds to the SSUSA Masters program.
