| April 28, 2020 AKA: Southpaw 179 posts | Oh What A Beautiful Day! Kelly's Ultimate Sports has 15% off their bats so I purchased a Miken Ultra Fusion Mike Dill Balanced bat. Yesterday I went to a ballfield nearby with a sack of softballs, my batting tee and my wagon. I hit off the tee at homeplate (43softballs), then put the tee in the wagon and went out to the outfield. Wherever I came upon a ball I put it on the tee and hit back towards the backstop. Almost 2 hours outside and 129 hits! 75 degrees, what a great day. Praying the season will open soon. Amazingly, the bat started breaking in at about 50 hits. Gonna be a good one. |
