Pitchers allowed to wear batting glove
Would SSUSA Considered waiving the rule as part of Covid 19 guidelines that, a pitcher isn't allowed to wear a glove on their pitching hand, for the duration of the other guidelines?

As of yesterday the CDC said C19 doesn't seem to be transferable from surface to surface. You wear a glove, no curve pitches allowed.

Dan : One of the problems in this is the CDC says something and gives published guidance to sports organization and recreational group AND THEN, later, updates in press releases negating their original guidance.

It doesnt seem they send that updated info to the organizations.

In many ways , one hand at the CDC doesnt know what the other is doing. You are correct that in the last several days they have said that touching objects does not seem to be a way to transfer the virus.

Today Birx, after saying the only need for a mask is in situations where you cant social distance, said that people should use their own marked tennis balls when they play tennis!!! which is different than what the CDC just released.

It seems the specifics are what are screwed up and not updated

Some organizations are going to have to stay on top of this continually changing guidance and see that it is getting more and more lenient and adjust accordingly

Gloves really don’t do anything. If you touch your face while wearing gloves, it’s the same as the bare hand.

I got one of those internet mailings from a friend the other day, we've all got them and in regard to masks it said: If a good stout pair of blue jeans and a pair of boxer shorts cannot stop a fart from getting out then what good will a mask really do?

OZ Hopefully like a mask your blue jeans and boxer shorts catch the liquid particles from a wet/juicy fart;)
