My bad. I wasn't aware that facts posted regarding decisions of our country's highest court posted under the 'General Discussion' Topic tab and directed at my senior softball brethren in Oklahoma violated the sanctity of the forum. Heck, even one of our bigger associations (SPA) is based in Oklahoma (Mustang, OK) My apologies to all the offended party's.

As a condition of maintaining that exemption, we must refrain from involvement in political matters ... We explained this quite clearly in our "priority post" above just four (4) days ago>! ... The entire last paragraph of your post yesterday was an inappropriate opinion piece ... The public member posted response included "..This has nothing to do with softball. I find your posts inflammatory and offensive.." ... We, and multiple private member responses, concurred ...

Understood to a point. But as far as political goes, there is nothing that is supposed to be as apolitical in their duties as SCOTUS.
My thought is that aside from certain posts I find offensive but say nothing about....well never mind. Suffice it to say I don't believe as senior citizens and we have lived through and saw 60+ years of death, epidemics, plagues, manmade and natural disasters, riots, wars and destruction, but a sentence or two on a forum board can offend us. To me THAT is what's political . . . that said, as you say, it's your board, do as you wish with this whole thread.
Thanks OZ40 ... "Staying with Softball" represents and is consistent with the stated desire of the overwhelming majority of the membership who chooses to comment to us ... There are multiple other public outlets available that cater to political opinion expression ... We're just not going to be one of them ... Thanks ...
