Aug. 14, 2020 MB SG #1 18 posts | Results Could someone please post the results from session #1 of the Western Nationals recently completed in Saint George. I'm having trouble puling it up on my computer. In advance, thanks. |
Aug. 14, 2020 MB SG #1 18 posts | I know Pulling has 2 l's. |
Aug. 14, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4247 posts | Mike ... That sounds like a Loser-Error to me ... ALL Session #1 Scores and Bracket Results are available from the Schedule links on the event tournament page AND from the same links in the Western National's "pink priority" message at the top of the MESSage BORED front page ... Good luck! |
Aug. 14, 2020 MB SG #1 18 posts | Thanks for the info Dave but either I'm colored blind or just plain blind as I have no "pink priority" on my computer. When I go the tournament event section I only see the original schedule with no scores. |
Aug. 14, 2020 curveball Men's 65 704 posts | My computer has lots of results, but filled in only up to the championship without final results. |
Aug. 14, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4247 posts | Mike ... The "pink priority" messages are at the TOP of the Message Board home page and there ar five of them right now ... If you have a color moinitor and are NOT color blind, they will be the ones at the top with a pink background ... If you want, go to the Western national's event page on the Tournament Page listing and look for them that way ... They will be the lin ks in the center of the three vertical columns ... curveball ... Try to "refresh" your download ... Do this by loading the page, then tap the "F5" ket at the (normally) top of your keyboard ... Youy are probably viewing a previous non-updated version ... The Final Game score is recorded for every Championship game that was played ... The Men's 65/70 Platinum Championship was not played because the teams were from different divisions and declined to play ... Both were already champions in their respective divisions ... If this doesn't work for you guys, I suggest doing what I do ... Call one of your grandkids and ask them to walk you through it ... Works every time for me and generally costs around $1 as a fee! |
Aug. 14, 2020 MB SG #1 18 posts | Dave....I tried everything with no results. I only have 1 grandchild and she's in Oregon fighting fires. Sure glad Robbie is having a problem also. I'll be returning to St. Geo. Monday hopefully some of the guys will let me know how things went and maybe I'll get the results then. Hopefully session 2 goes good and if Vegas is still shut down SSUSA could think about St. Geo. for the Worlds. With the loss of the Iron Man and Huntsman Games in Oct. the city could sure use the revenue. Stay safe and say hello to Fran. |
Aug. 14, 2020 Pete Men's 75 7 posts | Dave the 70,75 and 80's are there but not the 65's. So? |
Aug. 14, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4247 posts | I simply don't know how to educate you guys to view two readily available online computer files ... ALL Session #1 game scores and bracket results for the Western National's 2020 are both complete and fully visible on the six separate computers I checked here in the SSUSA office, my personal lap top, my cell phone and my desktop computer at home ... They're there, but if you're unable to see them, it's probably about a 101% chance you're doing something incorrectly ... |
Aug. 14, 2020 Dbax Men's 65 2086 posts | Guys, Dave is correct. Everything is posted. All divisions of session one. |
Aug. 15, 2020 curveball Men's 65 704 posts | Thanks Dave, F5 was the key. Know I know how to refresh! You saved me the 9 year old grandson consultation fee, I'll split it with you, I owe you $0.50 (grins!) |
Aug. 15, 2020 curveball Men's 65 704 posts | "Now I know......." Damn keyboards. |
Aug. 15, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4247 posts | Glad it worked out! ... Put the 50¢ on my tab ... I'll sometimes "play dumb" and call the oldest grand daughter with a stupid question just to hear her say "Grandpa! ... EVERYONE knows THAT!" ... It's totally worth it! |
Aug. 15, 2020 baseballbill 137 posts | Guys: Maybe this will help. I also could not access updated pages using Google Chrome. I went in using the Internet Explorer Browser and was successful. WHY, I do not know. |
Aug. 15, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4247 posts | Because Google Chrome retains copies in the cache of previously downloaded files with the same name ... It does this to (purportedly) display and perforn more quickly than Internet Explorer, which usually just re-downolads the file ... |
