Aug. 24, 2020 birdie Men's 70 802 posts | player classification. If a team wins in Vegas (St. George) and the team is moved up from AAA to Major or whatever. Are players on that roster considered to hold the classification of the new rating regardless if they play with that team or not in 2021. Thanks Harry #20 NVF |
Aug. 24, 2020 SSUSA Staff 3489 posts | Short answer is YES ... Any player who was deemed to have been a contributor/member of the team that earned the upgrade will carry that rating change forward ... There are, obviously, unique circumstances from team to team and player to player, so if you find yourself in that situation, please don't hesitate to call the SSUSA Home Office at (916) 326.5303 to discuss your options ... |
Aug. 25, 2020 birdie Men's 70 802 posts | Thanks, I was pretty sure that was the answer. It is amazing how many people give false information out and swear that it is a fact. Harry NVF20 |

Aug. 25, 2020 birdie Men's 70 802 posts | What is the new saying just asking for a friend. I hope that the grave comes later rather than sooner. Thanks Harry #20 NVF |
Aug. 26, 2020 grayhitter59 Men's 60 345 posts | a question along the same lines, a team wins worlds in a 55 majors bracket now that team jumps up one skill level, but what happens if that team moves up in age to 60 will they be considered major plus or majors at the next age group? |
Aug. 26, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4313 posts | Manny ... If a team ages up, and regardless of their rating and how they got it, they keep the same rating from the younger level if there are six or more players aging up with the team ... If five or less age up, the team's rating will be determined by the rating experience histories of the entire player group, including "new to the team" players ... If any questions, please call Anthony at the Home Office at (916) 326.5303 weekday (Pacific Time) mornings ... Thanks! |
