Ratings questions
Could anyone help with the following:

A team now rated 65AA moves up to the 70s division in 2021. Will they maintain the AA rating?

A player who is rated 65AA goes to the World Championships in St. George to fill in (for only one tournament) with a 65AAA team short on players. Can he play with a 70AA team in 2021?

Ozone8 ... Two questions, with two separate responses ...
• If a team ages up, and regardless of their rating and how they got it, they keep the same rating from the younger level if there are six (6) or more players aging up with the team ... If five or less age up, the team's rating will be determined by the rating experience histories of the entire player group, including "new to the team" players on the successor roster ...
• The guy playing a one-time deal for another higfher-rated team is something you should discuss with the eligibility folks in the context of getting an exception IN ADVANCE of the tournament ... Please call Anthony at the Home Office at (916) 326.5303 weekday (Pacific Time) mornings to discuss specifics ... This is not a "theory question", so you'll be asked who the specific team(s) and player(s) are ... Thanks!
