Teams Automatically Moved Up
What's the requirements for teams to moved up following major tournaments? I've heard different stories and would lie to know the trues tory and what the requirements are. I've heard top 2 get moved up and I've heard the top 3 get moved.

There is NO set criteria or formula for how many teams other than the Champion may be re-rated up (or down) following the World Masters Championships ... Historically, in "larger brackets", 10-20% get the call to step up a level ... The specific guidelines for "Champions" appear below ...

It appears from your inquiry that your ball club did quite well, maybe falling just short of the championship goal? ... Congratulations! ... Savor your accomplishment and enjoy it ... There's always time later to design your new ghillie-style uniform-set to make you invisible to the National Ratings Committee ... Just kidding! ...
__________

• Here are the guidelines for teams winning the LVSSA/SSUSA World Masters Championships or the SPA World Championships:

A. Teams winning in a division of 6 or more teams may NOT appeal their rating increase in the following Season.
B. Teams winning in a division of 3-5 teams may appeal their rating increase in the following Season after playing in three tournaments.
C. Teams winning in a division of 2 teams will not be moved up.
D. SSUSA reserves the right NOT to move a team up if there is a preponderance of information showing the team should remain in the original skill level.
