| Oct. 29, 2020 Lokahi 105 posts | 50’s AAA I know they are still about 30 mins or so before to have brackets games, but can anyone advise where to find it? |

It will take me about 2 or 3 minutes to calculate and fill out the 47-team bracket once that last game goes final ... You have the patience of the rattlesnake! ... Ha! |

Took 3½ minutes from time the Director called me with the last scores ... Also decided to post the Seeding Control Sheets just for laughs ... Actually, to head off the "Why were WE seeded #Whatever instead of #Whichever????" type crazy calls calls ... Good luck tomorrow! |

| Oct. 30, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4317 posts | YEP! ... There WAS a double-booking on Field #5 at 9:30 AM ... It's fixed now and the CORRECT time and field for the Finance of America game (B10) is 11:00 AM - #4 ... The Master Planning Grid had it right, but my bracket didn't! ... Easy explanation: I choked on that one and didn't have my "ace checker" (Tiffany) back from maternity leave yet (another couple of weeks) to bail me out! ... Good catch and good luck! ... My apologies! |

The problem is a LOT more complicated if we have two games scheduled later and the "hole" is earlier and can't be filled because we ran past it (I know this from personal experience!) ... Much appreciate your "extra set of eyes" on this! |

Question, if a team plays down to a lower age group and ends up winning that age group would they get moved up in their older age group? Example - 55 Major team being the same ratings as 50 AAA would win 50 AAA Worlds would the 55 Major team be moved to 55 Major Plus since a 50 AAA winning would get moved to 50 Majors and the same is 55 Major Plus? Thanks |
| Oct. 30, 2020 DaveDowell Men's 70 4317 posts | That's a heck of a "theory question" BH44 ... I don't know, but I'll hazard a non-authoritative "guess" anyway ... I doubt we would move them to 55-Major+, based on their performance at the World's in their native age/rating group of 55-Major ... They had a good event in St. George, but were eliminated Saturday night and didn't make it to Sunday ... More likely, however, we would probably make them play 50-Major, rather than the rating equivalent @ 50-AAA, if they were to take another tournament run with the "youngsters" ... But that's a purely hypothetical answer to an equally hypothetical question! ... Good luck this week(end) ... |
