| March 3, 2021 singemi43 Men's 70 3 posts | Berkeley NJ Over 55 Senior Slow Pitch League Berkeley, NJ Over 55 Senior Premier Slow Pitch League will have tryouts for all players who are interested in participating in this league. The league has 8 teams, two of which are new teams. League is located in Berkeley Township, Ocean County NJ. Le A 28 regular season schedule is played on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and completes the season with an A and B bracket double elimination playoffs. | April 7, 2024 singemi43 Men's 70 3 posts | Note: Changes to this Berkeley NJ Senior League 1. No longer over 55, now Over 60 2. The 2024 League has seven teams 3. Plays Tuesday and Thursday mornings with 9-inning games. Make-ups due to rainouts are 7-inning doubleheaders 4. Teams cannot recruit players; all new players must try out in April. Teams will draft tryout players according to their previous year's finish in the standings 5. Players who are 70 or older can use a Senior bat 6. A position outfielder cannot throw out a batter-runner at first base 7. Teams can have two players hitting in the same slot and can alternate times at bat. They can also play defense at the same time. This is called the two-headed coin concept |
