Sweet Construction/Eastern Nationals
I must say I'm kinda irked by the comment from SSUSA staff. They made a comment about "Bailout Disease" Sweet Construction bailed because of the rules. Having players injured and not being able to fill their spots is the reason we "Bailed" Not because of your "Bail out" disease comment. SSUSA set the rules about picking up players and Sweet Construction followed those rules. It was either that or play with 9 or 10 guys. You can NOT play in tournaments of this caliber with only 9 or 10 guys. Anyone who thinks different is an idiot. It takes 13 or 14 players to win at the 55 Major level. Trust me...Everyone one of our team members wanted to play. Rooms were already booked but we just couldn't field a complete and competitive team.

We had to pull out of a tournament for the first time since I've been playing senior ball last week due to injuries. Everyone had travel plans and rooms booked as well. We only had 11 and one person we were counting on as part of the 11 couldn't go based on doctor's advice. Out of the remaining 10, 2 were nursing injuries so we likely would have forfeited games if we did go. There was no bail out disease involved. Just couldn't field a team. We were as sorry it played out that way as anyone.

STL0,
Just a poor choice of words by the SSUSA staff. They must think we didn't want to play or something? It's probably going to be the last time we would have played in that organization anyways. They need to get some things figured out. We played in Westminster and Glenn Burnie. Both were 2 pool games a single elimination??? Glenn Burnie we had to ump one of our games ourselves??? LOL
