"Probably" the standard SSUSA Microcell™ technology STOTE/Trump 44 cor/375 comp optic yellow softball you became accustomed to over the past few years ...

So the xrocks I just bought can't be used? When did it change?

Rock softballs/Small BLD fields/Major Plus teams on those fields...bad combination.

Thanks Murray, that's funny stuff! ... I'm curious, take a peek at the Master Grid and show me how would you have done it? ... Your only viable alternatives are Warm Springs Fields at Sunset or Cheyenne Park (but not really, because opening that one for only six teams isn't logical or economically wise) ... Oh, only two of the Warm Springs fields are available simultaneously because #8 and #9 are too close together for outfielder safety ... Also, Minnesota has a Hall of Fame induction guy who makes sense to play at BLD Monday where his ceremony is ... Let me know ... This isn't as easy as some may think! ... Good luck, I'll be there at BLD ...

Dave, I’m never going to miss my chance to complain about playing at BLD! 😁

I know that it is a tough job and you are never going to make everyone happy. Maybe make us play with those balls that were used in Reno that no one liked when playing on short fields.

Would putting the the 5 team 80 Majors at BLD (maybe the two 80 Major Plus teams too) and moving the 6 team 65/70 Major Plus games to Arroyo Grande work?

Seriously, the only thing I would have done differently, if BLD was the only option, is to put the Major Plus on the biggest fields. I think that Dodger stadium is the closest to regulation, so for Wednesday, I would swap the 70 AAA playing at Dodger with the 65/70 Major Plus on Crosley.

See you there, Dave.

"..Would putting the the 5 team 80 Majors at BLD (maybe the two 80 Major Plus teams too) and moving the 6 team 65/70 Major Plus games to Arroyo Grande work?.." ... NOPE, for a few reasons ...

1. Twenty (20) team capacity at Arroyo Grande due to Local League Restrictions ... At that max now, and trading your "6" for the 85+ "5" doesn't fit ...
2. 80-Major+ (2 teams) have to play with 80-Major through Tuesday, which is an eight team division ... Can't split them out before then ...
3. 80+ and 85+ teams will only play under duress at BLD because of the daily $6 admission fee and the cost of food/beverage ... Not worth the daily "noise" for BLD or SSUSA staff ...
4. BLD isn't "..the only option.." ... We still have Warm Springs and, in theory, Cheyenne ... Those are both, in my view, "lesser" options, but they could have been used for your group ...

Good luck and thanks for thinking about it a bit ... Complaints are fine ... But I generally just dismiss them if they lack at least some sort of a proposed solution! ...

Thanks Dave! Will the 80’s play at BLD if I pay the entry fee and food and beverage bill?😁 See you at BLD in a couple of weeks and will buy you a cold beverage for listening to my complaints!
