ISA Tourney teams
Here is the list of teams playing in the ISA Champioships, as told to me by my good friend Nancy Allen,

50-Major Plus- Randy Smith, Hollis Appraisal, Butch Bulldogs??, never heard of them, Motown Stars.

50 Major- Coors Light, Florida Possee??, Oxford Graphics?, Travellodge Bears 55's

50 AA and AAA- OGS-Ky, Mitchells-MIssouri, KC Renegades, South Florida Heat?, Bagbeys, KC Barons, 50 Calibur, St,Louis Masters,
Metro Stars-KY? Topeka Drillers, Chicago Classic Blue 55 Majors,

I know, Bagbey's, Mitchells,OG'S,CC Blue, St.L-Masters are AAA for sure, cant say about the others.

55's- Premier /RSIG ?, Williams Food/Jim & Joes-KY , Star Drywall/Metro Stars-Ky , Miller Lite Rhinos, Sonic Fossils-Iowa?, Zeppelin-KY, Tubby's PUB-??

60-65's- W. Michigan/Bob Evans-, Chicago Classics Black,
Budweiser 65's, Hamel Builders 65's

We have never played in this tourney, let me know if you really think it is a good one, but one thing that really bothers me , is why do they schedule two big tourneys on the same date?? we are palying in Alabama NSA and maybe we would had plaed y in the ISA if they had held it on a another date? I see this happening a lot anymore, you think they would check around and make sure that date was the only one being used by a Major tourney, just a idea, since theya re all wanting to make more money, the only way is to have more teams?, but what do I know, not much i guess?

Hey Rabbit I see you have nine teams in the NSA. That's a good number for that tournament. We are going to the ISA only because we paid our money. If we had know there were only two AAA 55 teams and we have to play against two major and one major plus team we would not have gone. We play the two AA teams on fri afternoon after they have played two games against the major and major plus teams. If I am a AA team having to play against Major and plus teams three games in a round robin that doesn't mean anything I wouldn't like it. I also don't like the giving or taking the 5 runs or extra defensive player. That rule is okay for qualifiers not a World tournament . How can you play three divisions of the same age group in the same tournament? Not exactly what you want especially if you are the lower division. I also don't like letting teams like chicago classics blue play 50 AAA when they are 55 major and travelodge 55 play 50 major when they are 55 major plus. By letting them play in the 50 they hurt the 55 which has only two major and one major plus. Sorry about the griping but there are too many world tournaments and not enough teams. Good luck this weekend.

Hi Tom, I agree, I think they open a can of worms by letting those teams play down, just my opinion, I know Brickyard Ralph, doe not like it either, and I agree with him also. But I do not know what the answer is, and if I did have it, they would not listen to me anyway, You would think as long as yourself, Ralph and myself have been coaching and playing senior ball, they would at least ask our opinions, even though we are all from Indiana and Kentucky,we do know a little about softball teams and not just about Basketball like most think. The 55 Premier is the old Pine Knob Team from Michigan.
They are a very good team and just won the Novi ISA qualifier against 50+ teams last weekend.

Mi Vet,I agree with you on Premier being a very good team, let me add that they also have a lot of class. We were fortunate to beat them in finals at the ISA world tournament this past weenend. Our Williams Food/Jim & Joes won the 55aaa/major divison by winning the if game 24 to 15.Yes we could have cried to TD about having to play a major plus team(did think about it)but to TD defence they were given the rating on July 24th 2 days pior to start of tourney. We took the 5 runs & played the major home run rules (4 & singles) hit the crap out of the ball played great defence turned a triple play & somehow won.great complex.congratulation Rabbit on your big win in Al
