Past weekend - NSA, Ala.
The people in the Cullman, Boaz, and Gasden communities really go out for this tourn. Very well run tourn. No complaints that I heard. Used good balls and fields were in great conditons. I have traveled throughout the U. S. and Canada playing senior softball and the tourns. in the South seem to be more favorable to me. I did NOT see any fighting and bickering among the players or teams. IF any of the players left without a trophy...that was their fault. The trophy that I am speaking of is one of rekindled friendships and Christian fellowships. In our division, the intensity of competition was there but once the game was over, we followed up in prayer and the enjoyment of having made new friends. To me, this is what softball is all about and I want to extend my thanks to the Southern hospitality from the good ole boys. If you do not have this on your calendar for nest year, this is one date your must mark....You softballers take care. Enjoy and have a safe tourn season........
