ISSA website
I wish all of the associations would have a website that show all the games scores and the winners along with the all-world teams like the ISSA website does, if you have never seen it, you should go ot it.

also, would like to comment on the ISSA tourney, while I have never been to the ISF one that was just held, I do go to the one in August, the ISSA Worlds, it is a well run tourney, with great new fields, and the main thing, there are no weak sisters in this tourney, the east coast teams are very good and are all competive, so you coaches might want to look at this tourney,

But please check out website, and the main question is ,Why cant the other organizations do the same thing, and put all the scores on the site,so all can see who is beating who,It could not take that long?? can it? to put them on. Thanks, Rabbit

You're right rabbit, the ISF tourney finished this weekend and they have already posted the results of all divisions with scores. It's been a couple of weeks since the Reno tourney and still no results have been posted by SSUSA.

We played in the ISF tourney this past weekend the field where great but only thing I would say not in a positive was the long stay in Manassas. Our division could and should have been over Sat. Where the teams out of the area had a chance to get home and be ready to work on Monday. I had to drive 8 Hrs. home but some of my team drove 10 to 14 hrs. A team going to the ISSA should call and see how many days your going to stay to play 4 to 7 Games. Call and asked for the tourney to end Sat. if you have to work Mon. It is great for the Area teams but real hard for teams coming a long way to Play. Some of the team from KY and Ohio dropped out before it started think they saw a 4 day weekend? But great Tourney great fields, great teams to play, great fellowship, and a long stay for 4 team bracket.

Don, I know what you mean. JAH should have gone to Auburn. Our division was over Saturday around 8:00pm. The 50's finished a couple of hours earlier.
We played three game on Friday and five on Saturday, losing the "if" game.
Good luck in Marietta. I'll miss it, attending my son's wedding in Madison.

I agree with you on the long stay. It would also have been nice had a good ball been used and the ISF worlds would have followed the ISF bat list instead of the ASA bat list.

Bruce, I'm curious, what reasons were given to use the ASA list?

I was told that is how it is and there was really no reason given. Just told ASA bats only and yet the balls sucked and the pitching was USSSA style with faking.

Now add to that, that we never started a game with a new softball and that made for a bad tournament and time. We played the NY Statesmen and the score was a wonderful 7-5. Can you say dink, dink, dunk.

Bruce I picked up some of the balls and brought them home and the funny thing is the ISF bats like Synergy Plus hit the the balls a lot better.

Walk-
Interesting observation about how the Synergy + hits those balls. BTW, the ones I saw were Worth Gold Dots but by the time I got to look at them, most of the writing had been beaten off the balls!

Hopefully, the yellow Optic balls we will use in Cullman will be better suited for the Syn +. As I recall, they were not too bad last year.

We'll do better - maybe even win a game! LOL!
