| Aug. 25, 2022 MurrayW Men's 65 221 posts | 60 Major Plus Fields for Vegas Worlds Hi Dave, It looks like the 60 Major Plus division is playing the pool games at BLD. The preliminary schedule has them playing on Sunset. Will we get to play the bracket games at Sunset? I hate those short BLD fields and don't think Major Plus should ever play there. Thanks! |

BLD is the only place I could put your division and still "make it work" for your Manager's "special request" that Crush NOT play at the same time as the 55-Major+ Rock N Legends team on Thursday ...Apparently, he has a couple of guys playing on both teams and he asked me to avoid time conflicts ... One of those guys is named MurrayW ... Does that accommodation sound familiar? ... So 60's got BLD early and 55's got Sunset later on Thursday ... Friday you will be at Arroyo Grande and (Championship) Saturday will be either Arroyo Grande or Sunset (NO, you don't get a vote for the Saturday site) ... Have fun and let me know how that chat with your manager about BLD works out! ... |

I already had that chat with my manager asking him to see if he could get one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so I guess it’s that MurrayW’s fault! |

BOTH the 55-Major+ and 60-Major+ (along with the 55-AA) will finish in three days ... Those divisions will play at Arroyo Grande on Friday and Saturday after Thursday starts elsewhere ... There aren't any game conflicts for you on Thursday and, if you catch any bracket luck, only a couple on Friday, but Championship Saturday may have you picking and choosing which jersey to wear on an almost hourly basis ... You and Roach have the pull to have Dave change the whole 60 Major Plus games to fields that YOU openly say we shouldn't be playing on but since it allows you and Pat to play on another team then it's ok????? Hmmm. Can you guys see if we can move our 8:00am game to later so that I can gamble late on Wednesday night and not have to get up early? |

I'm guessing this scheduling skill set item of mine is new to you in terms of [1] the existence of these multi-player, multi-team accommodations or [2] how they come together ... This "player sharing" arrangement is one of four such "deals" in play that I know about so far for this World Championships ... There's another identical one to this one in Session #1 involving a 55+/60+ age straddle ... There are also two more in play for Session #2 ... One of those is actually pretty amusing and involves three 80+ and 85+ teams sharing players across the age line AND the 85+ teams contributing guys to the 90+ Division! ... I'm also aware of one Women's 40+ and 50+ double rostering schedule anti-conflict request ... This has been going on for years and, if notified before I build the schedule, I've met every one of those requests when the field allocation supply/demand numbers allow ... There's no reason to "mountainize this molehill" ... Good luck! |

| Sept. 23, 2022 MurrayW Men's 65 221 posts | Hey Dave, I just wanted to thank you for your scheduling work. I was able to play 11 out of 12 games with my 60 and 55 teams. There was only one game that conflicted and that was on the last day of the tournament. I appreciate your effort in helping those of us stupid enough to want to play on 2 (or 3) teams! |
