Why do the 75AAA not have double elimination bracket. We pay just as much as the teams that get to come back after a loss?

You may not have scrolled down to a continuance of the 75AAA schedule. Take another look.

No scrolling need. The 75AAA play 4 pool games and then start a single elimination tourney on Wed. See yinz soon. Thanks Harry NVFORCE#20

Alamo, Dan and birdie ... There is a complete revision underway for the Men's 75-AAA Division ... One team (Sacramento Buds 75) has forfeited out of the tournament following a dispute over the format ... The tournament structure was fairly designed, as a commitment to the health and welfare of the teams, for a desired maximum two games per day for teams aged 75+ and older ... Their forfeiture, as is normally the case, diminishes the quality of the competition, places undue changes on the remaining teams and delays the work on the Session #3 and #4 schedules ... We apologize for any inconveniences, despite the fact they we not of our creation or causation ... The revisions will be posted later today ... Good luck everyone ...

Are you saying that the health of the 75major is Bette than 75AAA.they get to come back after a loss. WeAAA want the same.we don't need 4 pool games.

Alamo ... Please re-analyze the 75-Platinum Division games structure ... You should note that the 75-Majors are playing under the same health & welfare protocol of a two-games-per-day scheduling criteria as are the 75-AAA (and all 80+ and 85+ divisions) ... They are playing three Round Robin games, two on Monday and one Tuesday, to seed a six-team double elimination bracket, with one bracket game Tuesday ... Wednesday and Thursday are also a two games per day format ... There is a potential "If" game Thursday, after an hour and a half team break, that would be a third game for ONE team ... Their format requires an effective games count of 20 total games ... By comparison:

Should the 75-AAA attempt to play the SAME structure with 14 teams, there would be 21 round robin seeding games and another 27 bracket games (total: 48 games) ... [We could "save" three games by playing a two-game round robin (14) on Monday into a three-game-guarantee bracket (31) for a total of 45 games] ... Under either choice, 2RR ► 3GG OR 3RR ► DE-14, teams could play three or four games on Wednesday to remain in the bracket ... Championship Thursday would have the potential of teams looking at FOUR or FIVE games in six game slots to fight through the Elimination Bracket ... The 75-AAA also have the potential conditional "If" game on Thursday that would be a third game for ONE team ...

Your assertion that we may have an opinion on the ability of the 75-Major to recover better after a bracket loss is false ... This is totally about a safe games count on a daily basis for your teams ... Despite your possible willingness to assume a significant health risk, we will not expose you to it with that type of structure ... Good luck!
