Discussion: Teams looking for players

For example Can a team out of Michigan pick 2 players from states not touching such as Tennessee?
Here's the link to the current rule book. Your answer should be in there. Hope you find it.

A Michigan team may add two players (not from Michigan or one of its bordering states/provinces) from the east side of the Mississippi River if each of them is otherwise eligible for that team as to age and rating experience history ...
Thanks
Dave, does that mean the exception that was originally for COVID remains in effect for 2023? I thought that was not going to be "renewed" for 2023?
DirkPitt ... We won't make any potential rules changes until the National Rules Committee meets, either in person or by "Zoom-type" virtual sessions ... At the moment, that exception is still available for the 45 eligible states that are NOT Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon or Nevada ... I'm just one vote of 13, but I'm not hearing any "noise" that would indicate any momentum for change this year ...

How do they get added to the roster? I don't see an option online like adjoining state players.
Is it correct that a California based 75+ team may add players from west of the Mississippi?
Yes, that's correct ...
How do the players get added do you have to call SSUSA to have them added to the roster? Adjoining states are just clicking add, I don't see that option for the extra 2.
