USSSA - Panama City Beach
Has anyone heard what balls will be used this year? I assume they will be 44 COR, 375 compression balls but we all know there are difference is WHICH ball is used. I would like to know if its a Worth Blue Dot, Trump, etc.

I do not recall what was used in Blaine, MN last year but they were socks along the lines of the Worth Gold Dots that were used last weekend in Virginia.

I haven't heard which balls will be used. Who do you play for? I'll be the first baseman for the Alabama 55's, #11.
See you there.

I play outfield / second base for the Houston Texans 55's, #10.
I know I've seen you over the years playing with JAH, etc. Saw your guys last weekend in Virginia; I remembered from some of your notes that you would not be there.

Looking forward to meeting you down the road. BTW, everyone knows Bruce Walker; he is playing with us this year.

They all get to be spong, depending on the weather, but no one tells you that except USSSA. So why hassle over the bats when the balls all get to be sponge, at least when it is hot.

Last year in Blaine, USSSA used a .40 COR 375 compression Dudley. It was hot and humid during the tournament so the balls were very soft. The .40 COR 375 compression ball is the ball used by USSSA in Minnesota for championship events, such as state tournaments.

I've been told by this year's tournament director for Panama City that they will use either a .47 or .44 COR ball with a 525 compression.

Thanks, mkuyath-I spoke with someone from the USSSA who is helping to run this tournament and they told me the same thing.
We shall see...we can only hope they learned their lesson last year.
