Nov. 18, 2022 softball4b Men's 70 1248 posts | Thank You to SSUSA Staff, Papago Parks Personnel and an Angel of Mercy During our intense battle with a very good Ranall Reality team, our rover, Dennis (Hack)worth took a ball off of his wrist. One out in 7th inning, us not knowing the severity of the injury, Hack continued play. Once the game was completed, SSUSA staff, park personnel and fans jumped into action. Medical personnel were called and responded quickly. Before their arrival, a wife(nurse) of a Ranall player took command and control. Jim Lewis, Scorpion teammate held Hack while the Angel of Mercy tried to keep Hack from going into shock. Someone please send me her name and contact information. Scottsdale fire responded and Hack was safely transported for care. As we took the field in the Championship game, we see Hack returning all splinted up and family surrounding him. The Scorpions Softball Club and Hackworth family wants to thank everyone for their support and prayers. Mike Adair Scorpions 70 |
