Jan. 31, 2023 DieselDan Men's 75 554 posts | Amazon might be a starting place. I bought a yard of naugahyde material at a local quilting store. Marked the dimensions on it and cut it. It rolls up real narrow and fits easily in one of the bat slots. |
Feb. 1, 2023 DaveDowell Men's 70 4057 posts | rocky026 ... Type "Purchase baseball home plate" in any internet search engine ... You'll get dozens (at least) of options ... Choose one based on what type of plate you want, from throw down portable style to anchored permanent install with post/peg, and everything in between ... Prices will vary accordingly ... |

Feb. 2, 2023 DaveDowell Men's 70 4057 posts | Sorry, rocky026 ... Your post mentioned you were looking for a "home plate" ... It looks like you might have actually meant the 34½" x 19" SSUSA specification "strike mat" ... Here's what we do and it's worked out very well ... We use a local rubber fabricator (Capital Rubber on 19th Street in Sacramento) and they make them very reasonably priced for us ... They do a lot of restaurant kitchen custom floor mats and truck mud flaps, etc., so they can do whatever the customer wants ... They could do the same for you and they ship UPS ground ... We order them from ¼" rubber stock, which is a nice balance between weight, durability and stability in place on the ground ... I would start your inquiry with a rubber fabricator in your area ... If you are locked into a hard plastic composition, start at Home Depot for material and then find a friend with a table saw! ... Good luck! |
