As always, these DRAFT schedules are TENTATIVE, are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" when play commences ... | March 13, 2023 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | SESSION #2 REVISION • Due to the Sunday night withdrawal of a Men's 80's team (Top Gun 80's Gold), changes were required at The Fields at Little Valley for Session #2 ... Revisions affected all 75+, 80+ and 85+ divisions playing at Little Valley and have been posted here ... Good luck to all! ... |
| March 18, 2023 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | SESSION #2 MAJOR REVISION • Due to the late withdrawals of two teams (Duke City Dynamite 70-AA and General Equipment 80-Major+) significant changes were required at The Fields at Little Valley for Session #2 ... The Duke City withdrawal reduced that division from four to three teams and affected The Canyons on Sunday, too ... The General Equipment withdrawal casused the collapse and elimination of the 75/80-Platinum division, forced the 75-Major+ championship to expand to a Best 3 of 5 Championship Series and resulted in the replacement of the 75/80-Platinum bracket with a 75/80-Major Best 2 of 3 Series ... We apologize for the inconveniences, despite the fact that they were completely outside of our causation or control ... All changes are now online ... Good luck to all! ... |
| March 19, 2023 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | SESSION #2 • ADDITIONAL 70's TEAMS FORFEIT OUT • Two of the three remaining 70-AA teams (Scrap Iron Diamonds and Top Gun Olde Dawgs) have forfeited out of the tournament on Saturday ... They caused the collapse of the former 70-AA division ... The Git-R-Done 70 team was merged into a new six-team 65/70-AA division ... Changes affected both The Fields at Little Valley and the Canyons Complex and those revisions are available now online ... As before, we apologize on behalf of the forfeiting teams for the major inconveniences, despite the fact they are completely outside of either our causation or control ... Good luck! __________ UNRELATED NOTE • In the Session #3 Men's 50+ division, there was a team initiated roster composition rating change that resulted in a team being moved from AAA to Major ... That change as been posted ... |

Forecast-panic has claimed another victim, this time in the 65-Major division (Scrap Iron High Octane) at The Canyons Complex ... Changes impacted the combined 65/70-Platinum group and included collateral damage in the Men's 65-AAA seeding and bracket play for both Tuesday and Wednesday ... All of the revisions have been posted ... Good luck! |

There were 11 teams who contributed to this "effort" ... Changes affected EVERY division of play at all three venues and they are online now ... Good luck! ... |

| March 21, 2023 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | SESSION #2 TUESDAY EVENING UPDATE • The City of St. George Parks & Recreation Department has not yet confirmed that the fields will be available as we had requested at 8:00 AM tomorrow ... They also have not confirmed that they have cancelled local league play, which is a pre-condition to making our recovery plan succeed ... The recovery plan we submitted provided for all teams (except five) to play at either 8:00 or 9:00 AM, followed by a short break and the commencement of bracket play ... PLEASE PLAN ON BEING AT YOUR PARK IN TIME FOR AN 8:00 AM GAME ... The Master Plannng Grid has been updated and posted, but detail division schedules are still under construction ... |
| March 21, 2023 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | UPDATED SESSION #2 INFORMATION • We just (7:50 PM PST) got off the phone with a facilities supervisor for City of St. George Parks and Recreation Softball ... He informed us that there will be NO softball played tomorrow (Wednesday) on any of their facilities ... This is a player safety decision based on their conclusion that the fields are dangerous and unplayable, and it will take at least one full day to remedy that circumstance ... Their decision effectively, and officially, cancels Session #2 of this year's Spring World's event ... Teams will hear from the Sacramento Home Office about refund (or future credit, your option) of team entry fees ... Thank you for being here and travel home safely ... |
