American pasttime made in China @#*!
Miken, Worth and a host of others now all made in China. I understand our reality of the bottom line and do not blame the poor souls that have to answer to the share holders. It is just sad to see the production leave.
On the other hand it seems the quality has gone down the toilet. More and more reports that Easton, Miken and Worth are having issues with cracks, bats breaking in two and also trying to keep product in stock.
Who knows what抯 next.

The bats on the market now are made in the USA> what he is talking about is product just moved to China in the past few months.

It appears that the move to China was done in the past few months but I am not 100% on that. So bats sold now would wtill have the USA stamp on them. I am not even sure if the new bats will say 'made in China' or what.

There is a rumor on the senior softball board that is hurting your image some. They are saying that your bats along with worths bats are now being made in China. i know that Jim said you guys are 20 hours a day 7 days a week trying to keep up. i l aso know for sure that it is Easton that is having there bats made in china or asia. They will blame durability and craftmanship issues on your bats even more if they think that they are made in china. please advise

MIKEN'S RESPONSE

All Miken bats are 100% made in Caledonia, MN (USA). In fact, we state Made in America on our bat line!

The last part of that Chinese was really Chinese until I placed it on the board & it came out Greek or something.
Man, what is gone wrong with this board when you cannot place your Chinese messages on here????? Ha!

Hey Miken - Worth; I smell an eggroll here. So you are saying that Miken has nothing to do with any production of any bats in China. Not hhat it matters to me but why cover it up if true ???

Mr Rommes from Miken

If 100% of the Miken bats are made in the USA then how do you explain your bats being held up in customs ?

Seems most or al the Worth bats are China. Still waiting on the Miken report. If they are now now then my guress is the new owners of K2 (sold again) will make the move soon as they deal with K2 sales decline in softball.

batwise,
Perhaps the labels are made there. Thus the hold up...lol

Ever ship a bat to or have one come from Canada? Talk about a customs delay.
I sent a bat overnight, took a week, actually nine days for the guy to get it and then he was stuck with a tax on top of that... The tax was about the cost of the bat.
Needless to say, I don't send there anymore.

All but Miken I think. I am not 100%. Rip It and Combat are made in Canada. I think Combat is a Canada company and Rip It is here in the states.

YES, MANY BATS ARE MADE OUT OF THE USA. WORTH MAKES SOME OF THEIR LOW END BATS IN CHINA. MOST OF THE HIGH TECH AND COMPOSITE BATS ARE STILL MADE IN THE USA.
MIKENS BATS ARE MADE IN THE USA. COMBAT AND I BELIEVE RIP IT ARE MADE AT CE COMPOSITES IN CANADA.
PEOPLE DEMAND TO PAY LESS AND THAT IS HOW SOME COMPANIES SURVIVE. CHECK OUT SHOES, SOCKS, BALL GLOVES, BALLS, BAT BAGS, AND ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE YOU USE WHEN YOU PLAY COME FROM SOME OTHER COUNTRY.
I DON'T LIKE IT BUT THAT IS THE BUSINESS WORLD.
