Is anyone using the new Short Porch Soda Pop bat. If so, what are your thoughts. I’m 75 and I think this bat is a soft barrel bat and might fit my needs.
It definitely is made for a slower bad speed. It doesn’t take much for it to break in. It has a good feel to it for a base hitter.
What is the BPF on the Soda Pop. It has a NSA stamp on it ?
Soda Pop Is 1.21bpf and Yes NSA/ISA/SSUSA
Point of order. NSA cannot exceed 1.20, ISA and SSUSA cannot exceed 1.21. If the bat does not exceed 1.20 then theoretically you could pay certification and buy a stamp from all 3. I am not sure, but since certification governing body changed I do not believe the NEW bats from multiple bat manufacturers have 1.21 on them just association sticker. Emphasis on NEW issue bats. No matter Soda Pop is my gamer and is a great bat.

I use the Soda Pop bat. Very good bat. You can hit them out with it. I also use the Blue Grass. The Blue Grass is a Medium Speed Swing bat. They will go out with this bat too. I am just waiting to see how many swings you can get before it breaks. Right now my Soda Pop has about 150 swings on it. My Blue Grass has around 100
It’s my go to bat. I used it in Rocky Mountain this past weekend. I have 2 grey wigs, 2 Sin City and a Blue Grass. Have to put more swings on the Blue Grass before I comment but I’m a Short Porch guy.
So if NSA sticker is on the bat, it cannot exceed 1.20 ? Would one assume that this is the case ? Really just curious how all the bat ratings work or do you just pay for the sticker regardless ?
