This was a charity tournament not run by SSUSA themselves. They have said in the past that the official ball of SSUSA is the Baden Fire but independent directors are allowed to use different brands of balls.
Just be thank full you had balls. Like nickname36 said just as long as both teams use the same ball for the whole game I don't see a problem, both teams have to hit and catch them..
