Discussion: 90 and over tournament

I don't see how 14 players under 90 with numerous 87 and 88 year olds can be considered a 90+ team, I can see the 89 year olds who will be 90 this year?
Can we presume from your post that you are also opposed to allowing ...

• Three 69's on 70+ rosters,
• Five 74's on 75+ rosters,
• Seven 78's and 79's on 80+ rosters, and
• Ten 83's and 84's on 85+ rosters?

Lots of people appreciate the options available for players as we reach the upper limit of the "more senior" five-year age brackets ... I would be thrilled in 15 years to have the opportunity to participate in the 90+ Classic game at the World Championships! ...

I guess I will continues to marvel at anyone in their 80's playing ball at ALL than focus on this odd focus.
WOW,cut these guys a break. It is great to see guys/girls over 80 that still can play the game we all love.A lot of people don't make it to 90 or if they do playing softball
isn't something they are capable of doing.I know I don't make the rules but even having
the majority of the team in their upper 80's should not be a big deal.
Good luck to all who are participating in this event in Vegas
Congratulations to them as to the fact they are still playing.
I am 64 and playing on and coaching a 50+ team and feel very blessed to be able to still play.
