Has anyone used the Senior Combat with the short sweet spot (10") and if you have how does it compare to the regualr Senior combat?

So not trying to hawk a web site aye?
as for the bat you are probably referring to the yellow Virus which only had a 10" barrel. However it's not classified as a senior bat.
Good bat.

Just saw the ad at their web site about the bat. It is a Senior Combat with a 10" barrel and has red markings. Must be new.

I believe that you're talking about 2 different bats. The red Combat with the short 10 " barrel is approved in the same places that the silver Senior Combat is approved. Both are on the Anaconda web site and both are exclusive bats for them.
However, there is a Combat Lady Virus (fastpitch bat) that is approved for ASA. There were guys using it in MN. It is yellow (handle) and purple (barrel). The ball (Dudley ZN)jumped off those bats. This bat is also sold on the Anaconda web site.
The slow pitch Anti Virus is yellow and blue (ASA compliant).

I played against Rabbit's 50AAA team and they hit the ball a mile with the Senior 10" Combat. I'm close to having mine broke end. I hit with it last weekend at a tourney in Birmingham and it hit well for me. I like end loaded bats. You just have to be selective on the pitch you get. This is not a 14" sweet spot. My buddy said my bat speed is a little faster with this bat. It works for me. See ya'll in Dalton on the 6th.

The 10 red combat is exclusive to theseniorsoftballstore.com. Just click the link on this board and follow to the combat bat section, it will be on the left about 4 bats down. It has a smaller sweetspot, takes a little more to break in but once it is broken in you will find that it hits very well and still has a great sweetspot.

IDAHO REB: Several Vegas M. Plus players have brought the 10" Red Senior Combat. These players r swing' 28 to 30 oz End Loads.

This Red S. Combat, hits just as good as the other Senior Combat, In fact, this Red Combat, may last longer. The 4-6 players that I know, have not broken their Red Combats.

GOOD LUCK....... The STONEMAN

King,
CE composites is combat. They don't make the reebok bat that on is made in china. As far as a difference in the bats, the combat senior is the only approved senior bat they make. The mattingly has the v-grip handle, not a bad bat if you want to hit the ball on the same side of the bat every swing. As for the rest not bad bats but I believe combat keeps the best for themselves. I am swinging the new virus- enhanced and it is a great bat.

I am not sure about all this CE stuff. Heard from a friend that knows a guy that has an uncle that knows the wife of a guy that there is a big change around the bend. This change will have a major impact on the senior bat market.

Yeah mtman you could be correct. I will be getting the updated version of the combat senior 10" today. I am really looking forward to testing this bat this week.
