Way to go SSUSA. I just read your email to the players. It showed absolute COMMON SENSE how to handle the whole situation caused by a few absolute idiots who caused a lot of problems for 99 percent of us who play by the rules. Thanks Terry and Dave.

I completely agree with your previous statement. I want to personally commend Terry and his staff for coming up with the most logical solution possible. I concur with your diligence in attempting to get the illegal bats out of the association. However there is an extremely large gray area where some people can find themselves in as a result of incomplete testing. The volunteer method is fantastic. I have bats that I have been using for years and quite frankly I love them. But they may not be in compliance with the directives. Having the opportunity to have them tested and be free and clear is the right way to go. I think doing it this way will promote players to ensure that they are in compliance and this will maintain the structural integrity of the association and fair gameplay. Once again, Terry, thank you for making the decision that is in the best interest of all teams, players and the association overall.
