Discussion: OG Bats

Thought I would ask the question here. Why don't bat manufacturers go back to make their OG bats> I'll use Dudley as an example. Their original lightning bats were amazing. Why stop making them? Now you see them selling for 4-5 times what they cost new. Why not just make more of the OG's? tyia
The OG Dudley Lightning bats were too good. They lasted forever so if no one was breaking them then Dudley would go out of business. Just like anything else today you have to build in obsolescence.
Mikelmart, I agree, unfortunately. I still have 3 of the originals and they are 3 years old. And I am not easy on bats. Planned obsolescence has hit softball.
I agree as well, will be hitting my OG in Va Beach this week, year 7 with it! and I was able to pick up an OG 2.0 brand new for a reasonable price so that is my back up (also have 3 OG red knobs so think I am good, my wife will sell then when I am dead). LOL
