Why is it that nearly every tournament the field directors can't just take an end of day picture of the results that day and post it so everyone can view. World brackets in Session two are still not available online and it's day three????

Or maybe join this century and do live online brackets like literally everyone else does.

Come on we are only 25 years into the new century...just because all the other tournaments (and leagues) are updated before you even get into your car doesn't mean SSUSA needs to do it...

It's just crazy. Just saw a clip and JBI is going to talk about it Friday. Finals of Seesion 2 tomorrow and not one updated bracket in any of the age groups.

Go to the bottom of tournament page there are photos of all brackets updated

Can ssusa try to list the complete team name or at least a abbreviation on your hand written bracket results.
You seem to be leaving off sponsor names, some sponsors pay a lot of money to at least have name recognition on the brackets.

I will say this, I love playing softball and I really appreciate what SSUSA does for us giving us an avenue to still feel relevant and part of the game we love. I also think SSUSA does alot of the things the right way, for example getting on top of the bat issue. But anybody involved with SSUSA either as a player, sponsor, fan, director, it doesnt matter, knows that the way scores are posted is insane. Hand written brackets taken on a cell phone? Insane. Every knows it, everyone says it. Result: no change, and when you ask about it you get insulted, or deleted. On this current string a 'customer' asks if SSUSA try to list the complete team name on the hand written bracket results and gets insulted by a SSUSA tourney director for abbreviating his name. This makes zero sense and serves no purpose other than to irritate customers. I will end with this, we played in the Smokey this year, as games ended we would walk off the field and by the time you ordered a hotdog people would be texting saying congrats. You would then go on line and the computer generated bracket was updated. There were multiple locations, levels, ages and a huge rain delay. They still managed to find a way to do it.

Typical Tim McElroy nonsensical reply that avoids / completely fails to address the issue of laziness in updating pool play & tournament brackets that was being discussed,and which questions the lazy use cell pics. of handwritten illegible brackets for people to decipher to determine results.

So is anybody in SSUSA going to correct the mistake in the 50 Major Pool Play. You have Ductech playing at 2 different parks. One park they are playing at 10 and 11:30 and the other park at 1 and 3:30.

Yep. I'm on the road for something personal/non-softball for a couple of days, but I'll ask someone on staff to clarify. Thanks for mentioning the issue.

Dbax- those were NOT put in daily and after each days play. We've been complaining about this same issue for many years. For the money we pay we should be getting real time recording.

I was one of the early posts requesting SSUSA post Vegas scores. (The post was deleted, but I don't believe it was bcuz of anything I wrote.) On that thread a number of people requested SSUSA simply take pictures of the brackets and post the pics. SSUSA responded to those requests and posted pics of the brackets.

I get that people would like SSUSA to move to a real time update system, and I'd like that too. In the meantime, if they do what we asked, is it really fair to beat them up over some sloppy handwriting or abbreviated team names? I can clearly see all the bracket results and scores, which what we were all requesting. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem very fair to get what we requested and then pile on with insults. Just my two cents.

Just to clear up any confusion, the updated brackets are posted every day on the tournament page, not the message board. You may need to refresh your page to see the most recent updates. Thanks! :)

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot but I'm looking on the Tournament page for 55's in Vegas from when I was there and those brackets were never updated..

John, if you go to the tournament page at the top you'll see "Draft Game Schedules & Brackets", then each age group listed. Is it possible that's where you're looking for updated results?

If scroll down you'll see "Final Results Session One" and it lists each 55 division separately. Each of those show the updated brackets. Hope that helps.
