I am fully aware of how hectic it could be sometimes when making schedules for tournaments and what field teams will play, but one of two things need to be done. Either offer extended booking dates for area hotels of the tournament or get the schedule out sooner so teams can book their hotel closest to the field they are playing. just a suggestion...
Or just book a hotel near each location and cancel what you don't need when the schedule comes out. That has worked out pretty well for a long time.
