To all the teams in senior softball USA, I am deeply disappointed in the directors and board governing this organization. Following our participation in the western world or Cali cup, my team Big Dawg softball / BBB was informed that one of our new players was too young for the 55 age group. As a result, they moved us to the 50 AA division, to which we reluctantly agreed. However, on game day, we faced several challenges and ultimately lost. Upon playing against the deerlinger 50AA team from Washington, I noticed some irregularities with the rosters. Despite my concerns, the directors failed to address the issue properly, allowing the opposing team to field ineligible players. This blatant disregard for the rules has left me with no choice but to withdraw my team from further Senior Softball Association events. It is crucial that rules are upheld and enforced consistently to maintain the integrity of the sport. I hope to other teams support in correction of poor neglect of the rules. I caught them and did a roster check; sure as it was, they sent rosters in to be approved, and they admitted to us that yes, you can play on different teams, but it can't be in the same bracket, same tourney. Hello Paul ... Normally, we would just delete this entire thread (like we did the other six times you posted it overnight), but since it contains multiple factual errors and related false allegations of cheating, our response is mandated:

• The only factually accurate statement in either of your posts is that there were two players on the rosters of a 50-AA team and a 55-AA team, both in your bracket ... That arrangement should NOT have been permitted by SSUSA ... Double-rostering across different age divisions is allowed UNLESS the teams are competing in the same tournament bracket ... We missed it, and there is no excuse for that ... However, immediately upon discovery, we did require the players to designate which team they would play with in the actual Men's 50/55-AA bracket, and they graciously complied ... On Saturday afternoon, the true 50-AA team won BOTH seeding games against the other teams to secure the #1 seed in the bracket ... There was no detrimental effect on the competitive bracket ...

You were told that you were eligible to add him only if you were a 50-AA team for this event ... You accepted that option in order to roster that specific player ... It was solely your decision and SSUSA had no objection ...
• We are unclear why you believe there is a rule "..that the players are ejected and both teams disqualified from play.." ... No such rule exists in the SSUSA Rulebook, making your related cheating allegations false ... The incident was simply a correctable error that was remedied ...
• There is no evidence that either of the players involved was "illegal" to be on either roster ... The subsequent discovery of SSUSA's error, and remedy, does not constitute cheating by either player or the respective teams ...
