Just my thoughts. At the World Championships we played at Sunset Park. I thought those fields were in pretty good shape. On Thursday we were moved to Desert Breeze #12. From the very beginning while taking infield practice we noticed how terrible the infield conditions were. There was no such thing as a true bounce. During the three straight games we played on field #12, I noticed the extraordinary amount of errors by both teams due to the field conditions. I’ve been going to the World Championships for the last 25 years, and this field was one of the worst I’ve ever encountered.
