Wheeler Dealer
Just finished my first year with the Wheeler Dealer (Battery Model). It is a great machine for the serious player who wants to improve or maintain his batting skills. Had a small problem at the beginning with bad circuit board but they took care of that right away. I have used it every day since March hitting from 50 to 175 balls each BP session and outside of having to clean the cylinder and plunger every now and then machine has performed with no failures. It throws the ball about 6' high and a distance of 3 - 4'. I am able to put the machine in front of the plate in line with the pitcher's mound so the ball is coming at me about the same as in a game with live pitching. Because it is an impact machine you have to use good balls. Balls that are soft (for example used Cork Center Balls) won't throw the ball up to 6'. I find that helpful as I mix some of them with the good ones so that is like a game some high and some low pitches but you don't know when each one is coming which teaches me patience and concentration at the plate. I would highly recommend this machine and is well worth extra cost of other machines
