tourney in Phoenix
I just want to say how dissapointed I am over my team, the Wong's, haveing to drop out of the tourny in Phoenix.Just to make this short and simple....Where was all this bitching and complaining about our team during the season when everybody was kicking our butts ?? All of a sudden we win a big tourney in Vegas and everybody starts crying about our team..We were 3 and 25 in tournament play before Vegas..All of sudden. we win and there's an uproar over our team ! We had a player that was released by the Mavericks who plyed with us ALL year.Everybody knew who he was. Why was'nt anything said about him then ?? Every body saw him playing with us..But because we were getting our butts whipped, no one said anything. All of a sudden we win a big tourney and all the 50 year old babies start crying. What a shame that this happened. But it's o.k. We are moving up to Major. So look for our team to do the best we can. And for all you cry babies out there, well ,you don't have to worry about playing us again. Good luck to all the teams in Phonix. Wish we would have been able to play.

Pifas, Why did you guys drop out? DId they force you to? Did they try and make you play Majors this late in the season? I play with CJS Express and I was looking forward to a rematch in Vegas, as we were not our best when we met in Vegas. In my opinion any of the top AAA teams can play Majors and compete. Whoever is making these decisions are morons. And by the way, we were not some of the 50 year old babies who were crying.

I do feel bad for you, and I never played against you. This happened to my team the 2nd season that I played. We were a AA team the first year and did not win more than 1 or 2 tourneys that were small. The next season we were a bit stronger, but only won about 50% of our games. With good momentum going towards the World's, we were bumped into the AAA division 2 months before the World's. Since we had no experience playing better teams and needed to beef our team up more to compete at that level, we got our butts kicked. At least they could have let us try and win a big tourney, before moving us up. Some guy was bragging about his rings(which I could care less about. I rather have a ball bag or bat), but they continued to play AA ball under diffrent team names with basically the same team. 4-5 rings were won, if anyone cares to know.

Who complained about you guys? Was it a team or SSUSA itself? We were looking forward to playing all you Cali teams, we hear you guys can flat out play!

Two years ago we finished 2nd in Phoenix in AA. The next year we added a couple of players (because we lost players)
and for no reason we were moved up to AAA. Since we finished 2nd in Vegas (to Maxspice) last year I guess this is where we belong. SSUSA can change a rating at will I guess. Now since we won the Eastern Nationals I guess we will be Major also next year.

See everyone in Phoenix and safe travel to all!!!

I had the pleasure of playing you guy's 3 times this year, , you guys are a very good aaa team and will hold your own in major's, imo. I'm just wondering if by having a major+ player on your roster, it didn't make you a major team?

They did not have a major+ player on their team. The player played on a major+ team. He was released by that team. Perhaps he was a AAA player that played on a major+ team? Was he an impact player? Who has the list?

So why didn't you just play in AAA instead of dropping out?

Stuff happens, play ball.

No...we are NOT playing. They know we dropped out. Why they would still think we are playing is beyond me. I told them along time ago we were NOT going to play.I think they are doing this to keep my money. They dragged us on with this whole thing just so they can keep my money. I an NOT going to let them get away with that .I will do what I need to do to get my money back.Good luck to all teams in Phoenix. Wish we were there.

The thing you might have done wrong was not going to Phoenix. If you did well there, it proves your team has arrived. If you got pounded there, it proves Vegas was a fluke!

My 60s AA team had a losing recored going to Seattle in 2006. We won the tourney via "5" one run games and others decided in the 7th. We moved up to AAA this year, as required and got pounded. We capped off the season by going 0-5 in Phoenix. It will be interesting as to our rating next year.

pifas, you are absolutely right.a 3-25 team has no chance in the major.those teams play year round and pound the ball 1-11 in their lineup.we {max spice}are a very good aaa team.in aaa team you can have a bad game and win but as a major team we have to play our best every game to just have a chance.anything less then 100% is a lose.i have no problem playing major because we had success last year in aaa.how they move some teams up and keep other teams down is beyond me.chuck you have a nice team and i hope you do well in the majors, you have to keep adding younger players as you move up in class to stay competitive.good luck to you.pifas good luck getting your money back
