| Dec. 29, 2007 sjuhoops 145 posts | Dave Barnes and i visited the pro man today. he was in a little bit of pain but cant watt to go home tomorrow so he can get some sleep. He said to thank everyone and that he hoped to be back on the field by june. Knowing him he will be there and Larry he is looking forward to playing the outfield and taking away one of your mighty blasts on a catch over the fence. He goes back to the doctor on jan 11th and if all is ok he will begin his serious therapy. Happy New Year to all Softballers out there and hope to see you soon Hank C GSF 60 Maj+ |
| Jan. 2, 2008 softball4b Men's 70 1248 posts | A little encouragement. I had a total hip replacement on 12/06/07. No cane and no pain 2 days later. I returned to work today and could have returned last week. My Doc said i could start swinging next week, but I am going to wait until March, simply because I am a big guy and swing pretty hard. It is just unbelievable the relief from constant pain. Do what the PT guys say do and try not to push it to much. Good Luck Now that it is over check out the videos on YOUTUBE, they are classic. I am glad I watech them afterwards and not beforehand. |
