TOC Banquet
Would like to hear some input from anyone that attended the banquet last year, is this a worth while event to attend?

Well - if you call the worlds largest private airplane hangers boring then it wouldn't be for you. There were 2600 people there - they moved the planes out of the hangers (which they had available for us to tour), had a band + stadium sized large screens TV's for the people in the 2nd hanger. There was a bar available and everyone there seemed to have a good time. The food service was buffet style so there was no problem with servers.

For a large event it went off very well and it was really the highlight of the weekend. Other than that it was like any other well run large national tounament.

Hey Smooth01! If you like… you can vuew our complete 153 slide pictures we took @ last year’s inaugural TOC. Just paste in the link below into your local Browser’s Address line and press enter or the “GO” button.

The slide show is a chronology of events for our W.E. Ruth 60’s trip to Winter Haven which includes our entire trip from Seattle’s Sea-Tac International airport to the Orlando’s MCO (note: Floridians often joke that the airport code MCO stands for "Mickey's Corporate Office" or "Mickey and Co." – Orlando being the location of the Walt Disney World Resort – but it actually stands for the airport's former name, McCoy Air Force Base, named for Colonel Michael N. W. McCoy, who died during an annual competition held at the base.

View some great pics of the fabulous grand dinner that Terry H. and his group of lieutenants put on in the huge hangers in addistion to the great band and a very attractive blonde girl lead singer!!!

Enjoy:

I enjoyed the slideshow. It looks as if some has spent a lot of time on that. There were a couple of slides with good pics of Roger Wilkes of the Florida Raptors.

Hey there BruceinGA and thanks for the compliment!

Yes, me and my gal friend have taken nearly 5000 senior softball pics in 90 individual albums since I joined SS in 2002.

I have established friendships with several of the Florida Raptors gang; Donna and Toll Mihailoff and the Godwins’ Kathleen and Ralph! Just great people!

in the information for the TOC listed in the TOURNAMENTS section, the banquet is FRIDAY night at 7PM. It does state where as well.
