Need measurements for the mat used behind home plate
Can anyone give the measurements for the mat we use behind home plate?

Want to make one and have some pitching practice with it.

The new rule - mat covers the plate, 19" x 34.5". See new rules on the home page just below TOC info.

Does anyone know where we can buy the one piece home plate? So far I have only seen the extensions.

I don't know anyone who sells them. The ones I have seen used are just pieces of carpet or a rubber mat.

If you have any Canadian connections they may have them up there as that is what they use.

Try this out, Orchard Supply or any hardware type store that carries rubber mats, but you'lll have to cut them to size.
Also a good place is a wrecking yard or some recycler. Old truck tire flaps are perfect. But you just usually get an ad on one side.
