Birmingham Tourneyment
Steve put on a great 4 game one day tourneyment. The weather was great and you couldn't tell until the last inning who won the game. The teams were pretty even.

hey Joe, thank you for those kind words; I count you as a good friend. I trust you and everyone else from out of town had a safe journey home from Birmingham.

My sincerest thanks and appreciation go to Garrett, Kaysons, Express, Morris Farms, Team P, Ga/Al, The Wild Bunch, Birmingham 55's, Pelham and Scrap Iron for a great tournament. The weather was indeed perfect; the competition was intense, and the character and fellowship of everyone was the very best.

In that I met half of my team from 3 different states for the first time yesterday, I think I am safe in saying that we might win a fair share of our games. Thanks, Scrap Iron.

I need to know who won the last game of the day between Garrett and Morris. Got busy on the other side of the park and forgot to ask.

Bill just return phone call, they lost to Garrett & Alabama/Georgia in the last ending, their scores were 22 to 23 .Yes both games ended with the same score in the last ending. He also mention that the only game they won all day was against your team Scrape Iron.Bill did mention if you started the tournament with a one & one it would speed up tournament and allow the out of towners to leave the ball park by 5:00pm,something to think about before your next tournament.GREAT Tournament Steve.
