Who is coming to the LVSSA spring national 4-19 and 20
What teams are scheduling the LVSSA spring event 50's and 60's scheduled for 4-19 and 4-20. Two complexes are being scheduled in Las Vegas from what I read both on the west side of town. Doc Romeo which is a venue used quite often and Veterans which is further west very close to the new Red Rock Casino. The fields are approximately 20-30 minutes from most casino locations on the strip. Veterans is on the Palo Verde high school grounds in a residential area so plan accordingly for food and water. Nice choice of restaurants about 5 minutes from the fields at Veterans. Doc Romeo is at the intersection of Cheyenne and Buffalo and no facilities on the premise but again a nice choice about 5 minutes away. Hope to see old friends and maybe some new faces. Good luck the wather has been magnificent.

Joe, presuming that this isn't an April 3rd prank, GSF will be there.

Bob trying to be a good neighbor, I play on those fields alot and wanted to pass neighborhood info along. As to the prank I haven't been hanging around Hank very much and forgot all the lessons he has been working with me on, reverted back to my pre-senior days.

I saw a preliminary schedule and it looks like Lorenzi will be used for the 50Major/Major Plus and the 60 AA and AAA. I think they were still working the 60 Major/Major Plus as too park location. I noticed there were 4 50 Major teams, 1 50 Major plus, 1 50 AAA and I think 3 50 AA. In the 60 uppers there was 1 Major plus and 6 Major teams. See everyone next weekend.

The 60 Major + (one team GSF) and 60 major (6 teams) will be playing in a 7 tean tournament at Doc Romeo April 19, 20. The other groups will be at Lorenzi Park, a last minute change from Veterans. It is my understanding Lorenzi will not be available other than for those 2 days due to renovations.

I heard yesterday that the City of Las vegas has now ruled that LVSSA can NOT use Lorenzi for April 19 and 20. Thus they have to move games Lorenzi games back to Doc Romeo and Veterans resulting in fewer fields and longer days. LVSSA should have contacted managers with new start times on Saturday.
