| April 15, 2008 bigpop56 7 posts | Thanks guys Thanks guys for the welcome. I got hooked with a couple of local church teams here in the Clemson SC area. One team plays on Mondays and some Tuesdays. The other one has a double header on saturday afternoons. Had my first game last night. They started me out at first. We got mercied after 4 innings, but I did get a couple of swings. Got a good solid line drive hit to left center and fouled out at my second time up.(Gotta get used to starting with 1-1 count). But it certainly felt good to be out there once the first game jitters eased off. Thanks again fellas. |
