| Aug. 13, 2008 oldschool21 Men's 50 20 posts | looking for a team I am 53 years old looking to play.. I was a leadoff hitter for many years. Bat left throw right I have been catching for a long time. I play with the young guys still...But would like to play with veterans. |

| Sept. 2, 2008 Gekle BUilders Men's 50 204 posts | Oldschool,Don't give up.I'm sure there are many 50+ players in your area and bordering states ,with some leg work and some communication,there is a possibility you or an associate could organize a new team in the ssusa organazation.Not to mention that your post came pretty late in the season when most teams have already qualified their rosters for Worlds.Good luck.You would be suprised at the 50's that are unaware of senior ball,That would love to play. The 50+ and 60+ teams are playing at Heritage Park beginning this Thursday. The finals are this weekend. Maybe you can make some contacts there. I plan to be there on Friday to watch. |
