Phoenix Worlds!!
Our 55 Major team voted to go to Phoenix. There were only 8 teams last year. I know with the higher travel costs, some teams have cut back on going to far away tournaments. My team wanted to know what teams are planning to go to Phoenix in the 55 Major division this October 24, 25, 26?? We would not care to have that expense, if there were less than 8 teams, especially since this will be our first Major tournament of the year. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey Norm,

All is good thanks. I polled the team for a vote and the majority wanted to play in Phoenix, even if we get our heads bashed in. I go along with the majority. We will have fun, win or lose.

So far we have 5 teams going. It would nice to get at least 8. Is D & K, Old Dawgs, No Dice, or West Coast All Stars planning on going to Phoenix?

Norm,

We are holding our ground somewhat. We used to play about 90% of our tournaments with SSUSA, and it will be 10%-15% from now on, since we have found several other places to play now. I hope you are enjoying golf!

Hey Idahoreb,

Good to hear that you are going. I am not sure if your name, idahoreb, and Skip are the same person, but it will be nice to put a face to the name. It was really good to compare our opinions/ideas about everything. We can discuss some of this, when we have a break in between games. I can see why teams are not going to far away tournaments lately. There are just not enough teams in their division, especially in the Major and Major+ divisions. I do not see AAA and Major divisions ever being combined at the 50 and 55 age group, but maybe 60 and over divisions, due to less teams as we get older. Now that we have 7 teams confirmed, we will definitely be there. I am sure that a few others may come, just to play some other teams and make some new friends. Hopefully, No Dice, West Coast, D & K, and some other Major teams will show, then we will have a great turnout.

Rhinos from Illinois has made it 9 teams. That is good, but 16 would be better. I should be getting a commission for this. LOL! NCI/D&K is on board. I did not know you were one in the same, thanks. Hey Sal, can you bring some of those rubber knobs for the end of the bat? I would like to buy 3 please.
