Sept 11 - 14 Tournament in Dalton (SPA)
Hey Everyone. on this, my 59th year plus 1 day, I was just wondering who plans on being in Dalton for the AA and AAA tourney in Dalton?
Being the "old man" on a 50+ team gets more and more difficult. I am hoping to be a youngster on a 60+ next year. God bless you all; enjoy every day on this side of the grass; they are all important.

Looking forward to coming down. It is a little inconvenient to get there from Ma but it is well worth it.
Really enjoyed the food and facilities and the general atmosphere of the city. Just like being home but away from the wife. LOL

Lefty- I'm in Baton Rouge on business this week. I tried to buy you some Crawfish but they are out of season, I'm sure you knew that. I did buy you 2# of Crawfish tailes, frozen, I hope that will do you until March.
I see your first game is @ 10:00AM. I play for
Kentuckian 60 and our first game is @ 11:30AM. Come over after your game and I will give them to you.

"Wes" thanks for bringing me some Louisiana Crawfish. This is what I call making friends on this message board. Wes is a stand up guy& plays on a good time. I hope to see you again next year. I had the change to might "Mad Dog" and his team put a whipping on us. Great team. I found "cpope" and his Senior Moments team was still in it. Another good team. "Sac's" team Kaysons was still in it. Monty brought his new yellow Combat and showed off all his power. Don Ward did the best he could do at umping. BruceinGa. was making sure Don was making all the right calls Friday. All in all I went to Dalton to have a good time, me some old friends and making new olds. Life is good in the Softball world.

Let me know how you like the Yellow. You know I use the U2, love the U2, nothing better, Rip-it, great bat, like the U2 better, Gray Combat, great bat, but I will still use the U2.

This weekend at Dalton I tried a Red Combat 28oz FL. Have not picked up my U2 since. Ordered a 29 FL today. The ball jumped off the bat like the old U2. You know, the GOOD ONES.

After 5 winning games in Dalton we got tired a lost 2 in a row. Both our loses we stopped hitting in the 4 inning and the other team kept on hitting.
Played some great teams.
But had a great time, got to see you, Lefty, Bruce, Ray, Transplant and lots of old friends from Kayson Grill and Time Bandits. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Never got my hotdog and kraut, but great conversation.

Another next to excellant tournament ran by SPA and "The Hooker".
Very good fields and excellant upms.

PS: I hope everyone hurts as much as me after playing 7 games> :) :) :)
