LOOKING TO PLAY FOR AAA 55 TEAM PHOENIX 10/24-10/26
Would like to play with a 55 AAA team in the Phoenix Tourn. I play center and reside in the Bay Area/Northern California.

AAA55,

How old are you?

Something to consider with your request to play 55 AAA in Phoenix.

The rules state that teams in any division can add players ONLY from the next OLDER age group and in the SAME skill level.

If I understand the ruling, you could be added to a 50 AAA team but not a 55 AAA team (you're from the next older age group)...unless you're currently 60AAA, you may not qualify to be added to 55 AAA.

Can anyone confirm this rule?

AAA55,

I know of a 55 AA team from the San Jose area looking for a player(s) as they only have 10 palyers going.

I would have considered helping them out but I'm playing the week before (60 AAA).

I'm not sure if you may be eligible (or interested)?

I am interested. Please let me know how I can get in touch with them. I know at least one other player that may also be interested. He and I play for the same team but our team had decided not to go after all. Thanks.

I thought that teams could only go to Phoenix with players that played in a qualifying tournament. Teams can just pick up players?

I'm looking to play in the upcoming tournament as well, I just can't figure out who can play and who can't! I played in world tournament about 20 years ago... got the fever 2 months ago playing in a tournament. I'm 54 turning 55 in June of next year... should I look for a 50+ tournament to get in? Pitch, 1st, and 2nd...use to play outfield but my tires have gone bad!!! Any information would be great!!!
