Help me find "Mike"
55+, Major or AAA player, named Mike. Probably turning 60 this year. Used to play for D&K in Cal. He is a 3b most of the time, hits the longball.
Last saw him in Escondido during Sept at the Top Gun tourney. I need to contact him , does anyone know him from this brief sketch. Help me contact him, please.
Thanks,
Mount Si

He's definitely looking for Mike Swearingen, who plays 3rd base for the Mustangs. Mike is maybe the nicest person I have met in Senior softball and a pull hitter's best friend:)

hopefully it is publishers clearing house looking for me. the description left out "blazing speed, soft hands, gun-type arm, and total hustle". Those things were left out for good reasons. Thanks for the compliment, Dennis.... I do all that I can to make friends. (<:

Ok.. own up... who is looking for me?

Mike Swearingen,

Any chance you played Softball in the Pomona area in the early 70's with Darrel Cosby, Steve Allen, Frank Wislon, etc. I played on that team for a while. I have played comtinuously since then - just turning 65 and looking to play senior softball. I live in Fullerton and I think my dentist (John Christensen) has mentioned you a few times. Anyway, if you have any ideas for me, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Bob...yes, I did play in Pomona and Fullerton and Brea and Anaheim and anyplace else I could find a game in my younger years. I played with Murdock, Daily, Denny Vensend (7 footer) , Scarpanado, Rich Cox, Doug Peterson in Pomona.... those guys. Not sure if you are looking for 65+ or 60+ to hook up with. E-mail me at docswear@cs.com and I will try to help.
